Veterans Day 2023: 10 popular food, drink deals for veterans, active-duty military

From coffee and doughnuts to full entrées and desserts, many U.S. restaurants and stores with a presence in the Southern Tier will salute veterans and active duty military personnel by serving up free food and drinks on Veterans Day.

The holiday falls on Saturday, Nov. 11. State and federal building will also be closed to observe the holiday Friday, Nov. 10.

Here are 10 of our favorite special deals for U.S. veterans and active duty military personnel on Nov. 11:

Applebee’s

All active-duty military, veterans, reserves and National Guard who dine in will receive a complimentary full-size entrée from an exclusive menu Saturday.

On Saturday, Buffalo Wild Wings serves up a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries for veterans and active-duty service members with the presentation of a valid ID.
