Military.com, a news and resource website for military families, may be able to help. The website compiled a list of restaurants where veterans and active-duty service members can get a free meal.
Here are some meals that veterans can take advantage of in Delaware, according to Military.com.
Applebee's
Veterans and current military personnel can get a complimentary full-size entrée from a special menu.
Charleys Cheesesteaks
Veterans and active-duty military can get free gourmet fries with the purchase of any cheesesteak and drink.
Bob Evans
Veterans and active-duty military can dine in and enjoy a free meal from a select menu.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Veterans and active-duty service members can dine in on Veterans Day and enjoy a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries with a valid ID.
Chili's
Veterans and active-duty service members can choose a free meal from a select menu on Veteran's Day with proof of service. Available in restaurants only.
Dunkin'
Veterans and active-duty military can get a free doughnut of their choice on Veterans Day at participating locations. Offer is for in-store only.
The Greene Turtle
Veterans can dine in and enjoy a free meal up to $15 with a valid ID.
Hooters
