Veterans Day discounts and deals: Where to find them
Are you or a loved one a veteran of the U.S. armed forces? You may be eligible for a variety of free or discounted deals for Veterans Day this Friday. Check out this list to shop deals in dining, retail and more this Veterans Day.
Most offers require customers show proof of veteran or active military status to redeem offers. Commonly accepted forms include veteran ID cards or VA benefits photo ID cards.
Dining Deals:
Bar Louie: Active-duty military personnel and veterans get free craft burger or flatbread of choice on Friday.
The Big Salad: Active-duty military members and veterans get one free pre-made sandwich or salad on Friday. Offer valid in-store only.
Black Rock Bar & Grill: Veterans get a free steak dinner on Friday. Offer valid at all locations statewide.
Bob Evans Restaurant: Active-duty military personnel and veterans get a free meal from a special menu on Friday. Offer valid for dine-in only during regular business hours.
Bonefish Grill: Service members, veterans and first responders get a free order of Bang Bang shrimp with a soft beverage on Friday. Bonefish Grill also offers a yearlong 10% Heroes Discount to service members, veterans, and first responders.
Dickey's: Veterans get a free pulled-pork sandwich with code VETFREE on Friday. Offer valid in-store and online, including for carryout and pickup orders.
Dunkin Donuts: Active-duty military personnel and veterans get a free donut at locations nationwide on Friday.
Fazoli's: Active-duty military personnel and veterans get a free regular spaghetti with meat sauce or marinara sauce Thursday and Friday. Offer valid at participating locations.
Ford's Garage: Veterans get 25% off dine-in orders, with up to three guests per table, on Friday. Offer excludes alcohol purchases.
Golden Corral: Active-duty military personnel and veterans get a complimentary meal from 5 p.m. to close on Nov. 14. Offer valid at locations nationwide.
Insomnia Cookies: Active-duty military personnel and veterans get a free six-pack of cookies with any in-store purchase on Friday.
IHOP: Active-duty military personnel and veterans get a free order of red, white, and blueberry pancakes on Friday. Offer valid for dine-in only at any location.
Krispy Kreme: Active-duty military personnel and veterans get a free donut and coffee on Friday. Offer valid in-store and drive thru only.

Olga's: Active-duty military personnel and veterans get a free Original Olga with any purchase on Friday.
Olive Garden: Active-duty service members and veterans get a free entrée from a special menu on Friday. Entrées come with a side of breadsticks and soup or salad.
Red Lobster: Active-duty military personnel, veterans and reservists get a free Walt's Favorite Shrimp, fries and coleslaw. Offer valid for dine-in and to go orders placed between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. local time on Friday.

Texas Roadhouse: Veterans get a free meal voucher, valid until May 30, 2023. Available for pickup between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.
Twin Peaks: Active-duty military personnel and veterans get a free meal from a select menu from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Offer valid dine-in only, with a limit of one item per person.
White Castle: Active-duty military members and veterans get a free combo meal or breakfast combo meal on Friday.

AARP: Veterans get a special membership offer of up to 43% off.
Bed Bath and Beyond: Active-duty military personnel, veterans and spouses get 25% off in-store purchases. Offer valid on Friday.
Goodyear Auto Service and Just Tires: Active-duty military personnel, veterans and first responders get a free car care check, including tires, brakes and batteries, and 10% off tires and services. Offer valid at locations nationwide from Nov. Thursday to Monday. Appointments scheduled by Monday qualify for the deal through Nov. 17.
Office Depot and OfficeMax: Veterans, active-duty military personnel, reservists and dependents get 25% off orders in-store only from Nov. Friday to Sunday. Coupon required.
Target: Active-duty military personnel, veterans and their families get 10% off full-basket purchase, in-store or online. Offer valid throughout November. Customers must verify eligibility online, then they will receive a one-time use 10% Target Circle offer.
Walgreens: Military service members, veterans and their families get 20% off regular-price purchases when using the myWalgreens membership. Offer valid Nov. Friday to Monday, in-store only.
Travel Deals:
Lindblad Expeditions: Veterans and active-duty service members get 20% off eight itineraries when booked between Nov. 1-30 for 2022 and 2023 departures. Travel destinations include Europe, Japan and the South Pacific.
La Quinta by Wyndham: Eligible military members get 12% off the best available rate at participating hotels. Wyndham Rewards members get 1,000 bonus points for qualified stays booked by Dec. 11 and completed by Dec. 12.
Red Roof Inn: Military members and veterans get 15% off bookings and stays between Nov. 1 to Dec. 30 at certain locations. Use code VP 623095 to redeem offer.
