Restaurants and businesses across the High Desert will roll out Veterans Day discounts to honor those who served in the U.S. military.

The free meals and discounts are available on or around Saturday, Nov. 11. Discounts have been confirmed with companies, either through press releases or social media posts.

Not all franchise locations participate in their national chain's Veterans Day programs. Be sure to contact your nearest establishment to make sure they are participating.

Keep in mind that most businesses require proof of military service.

Veterans Day deals

  • 7-Eleven — Veterans get a free Quarter-Pound Big Bite 100% all-beef hot dog on Saturday. Available in-store and via delivery through the 7NOW app.

  • Applebee's — Active-duty military, veterans, Reserves, and National Guard receive a free meal when dining in from a special menu on Saturday. When dining in, military guests will receive a $5 Bounce Back Card to redeem for dine-in, To Go, or delivery within a three-week redemption window.

  • BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse — On Saturday, current and former military members receive a free meal from a select menu. Dine-in only.

  • Buffalo Wild Wings — Veterans and active-duty service members get a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries on Saturday. Must show valid proof of service. Dine in only.

  • Charleys Philly Steaks — Veterans and active-duty military get free Gourmet Fries in-store with no purchase necessary on Saturday. In addition, Charleys’ locations on military bases are offering free gourmet fries with the purchase of a cheesesteak and drink for all customers.

  • Chili's —Veterans and active-duty service members get a free meal from a select menu on Saturday. Available for in-restaurant only.

  • Chuck E. Cheese — On Saturday, active-duty military, National Guard and veterans get a free personal 1-topping pizza with valid military ID or proof of military service. Not available for delivery.

  • Circle K — Veterans and active-duty service members get a free medium coffee all day on Saturday at every location that serves coffee.

  • Cracker Barrel —Veterans get a complimentary slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake in-store or online on Saturday.

  • Denny's — On Saturday, Denny's offers a complimentary Grand Slam to all active, non-active and retired military personnel. The offer is valid for dine-in only at participating locations from 5 a.m. to noon with a valid military ID or DD 214.

  • Dickey’s Barbecue Pit — Veterans and active-duty military get a Free Pulled Pork Sandwich on Saturday. Valid in-store, and online/app for carryout.

  • Dunkin' Donuts — Veterans and active-duty military get a free donut of their choice on Saturday at participating locations. Offer available in-store only. Not available for orders placed using On-the-Go Mobile Ordering through the Dunkin’ Mobile App.

  • Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers — Veterans and active-duty military personnel who visit on Saturday will receive a free Freddy’s Original Double with Cheese combo meal card that can be redeemed through Nov. 30.

  • Golden Corral — Golden Corral is hosting their Military Appreciation Night from 5 p.m. until close on Monday. This includes a free “thank you” meal when dining in.

  • IHOP — Veterans and active-duty military get free Red, White & Blueberry Pancakes at participating locations on Saturday. Dine-in only.

  • Juice It Up — Veterans and active-duty military receive a free Medium Classic Smoothie on Saturday. Offer valid in-store only.

  • Krispy Kreme — Veterans get a free coffee and doughnut on Saturday at participating locations.

  • Little Caesars — Veterans and active-duty military get a free Lunch Combo at participating stores from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. In-store only.

  • Menchie's — Veterans and active-duty military get their first 6 ounces of froyo free on Saturday 11with proof of service.

  • Mimi's Cafe — Veterans and active-duty military members get a free entrée (up to a $16 value) with ID on Saturday. Dine-in only.

  • On the Border — Veterans get a free Pick 2 Combo on Saturday. Dine-in only.

  • Outback Steakhouse — Veterans, active-duty service members and spouses get a free Bloomin' Onion with any Coca-Cola beverage for dine-in on Saturday.

  • Pilot Flying J — Service members and their families get a free meal at participating locations from Friday through Saturday with a special offer in the app.

  • Red Lobster — Veterans, active-duty military and reservists get a free Walt's Favorite Shrimp, Fries, and Coleslaw on Saturday. In Victorville, the offer is available for dine-in orders between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. local time.

  • Red Robin — Veterans and active-duty military get a free Red's Tavern Double when dining in on Saturday. This classic burger also comes with free refills of Bottomless Steak Fries.

  • Starbucks — As with previous years, Starbucks will offer a free tall (12-oz) hot brewed coffee for veterans, military service members and military spouses on Saturday. Starbucks is also expanding this offer to include a free tall (12-oz) iced coffee.

  • Sizzler — On Saturday, participating locations are offering a free lunch to active-duty military and veterans until 4 p.m. Choose between a free Half Dozen Crispy Shrimp, Malibu Chicken, or 6-ounce tri-tip steak entrée.

  • Town's End Stillhouse & Grill — The restaurant will offer all veterans a free meal on November 11. The complimentary meal includes limited specific menu items, to veterans and active-duty members who dine-in and show valid military ID or proof of service. Town’s End is located at 22020 Highway 18  in Apple Valley.

  • Texas Roadhouse — At participating locations, veterans and active-duty military receive a meal voucher on Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a specific menu to select from. Please contact your local Texas Roadhouse for variations in this deal.

  • Wendy’s — Active-duty military and veterans get a free breakfast combo on Saturday at participating locations from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.

  • Wienerschnitzel — Veterans and active-duty military receive a free Chili Dog, small fries and a small drink at participating locations on Saturday.
