VHSL delays field hockey semifinals, championship games due to weather

The Virginia High School League on Wednesday pushed the field hockey state tournament semifinal and championship games back a day because of expected inclement weather.

“The decision to push the schedule back one day was made with the safety of VHSL competitors, coaches, officials, and championship management team in mind,” the league wrote in a release.
