Vice President Kamala Harris will visit the City of San Bernardino on Friday, marking her second visit to the Inland Empire since taking office a year ago.

Harris will make her visit as part of a tour "to discuss how the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will benefit communities around the country," according to Rachel Palermo, the vice president's assistant press secretary. Harris plans to visit Milwaukee next week as part of the same tour.

During her stop in San Bernardino, Harris will be joined by the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, though details about their visit were not immediately available.

The visit marks the second time Harris has traveled to the Inland Empire in recent months. In October, Harris spent a night in the Coachella Valley on a private visit.

Harris, who previously served as California attorney general and represented the state in the U.S. Senate, and her husband are both from California.

This is a developing story; check back for more details.
