Vice president to make two local stops

Apr. 19—GUILFORD COUNTY — Vice President Kamala Harris will make two stops in Guilford County today, including one in High Point, but neither stop will be open to the general public.

Harris will speak at Guilford Technical Community College around mid-day on job creation. In the afternoon she also will visit a Thomas Built Buses plant in High Point, touting job creation and the company's electric vehicles.

The visit is the first time Harris has visited the area since she and President Joe Biden took office three months ago.
