Vicky McClure's Trigger Point lands January series 2 release date
Vicky McClure's thriller, Trigger Point, has revealed a release date for its upcoming new series.
A dramatic first-look trailer saw the Line of Duty star return to the role of Lana Washington, an Afghan war veteran leading a team of bomb disposal experts for the Metropolitan Police.
Series 2 will see Lana and her team hunt down a terrorist group attacking London as they leave clues to their identity for the bomb squad to decipher.
And fans won't have long to wait to dive in, with Trigger Point returning to our screens on Sunday, January 28, at 9pm on ITV1.

It's sure to be welcome news for viewers who have waited almost two years for the second series following the culmination of the first in February 2022.
Series one saw Washington hot on the tails of a far-right group called The Crusaders, with her uncovering the gut-wrenching information that the terrorist organisation was led by her love interest Karl McGuire.
And it seems this series is set to be similarly explosive, with McClure taking on a "very different role" in the upcoming episodes.
"It's a very different role for me. Sarah Pinborough has written such an exciting script," she said. "We have a fantastic cast, crew and production team all set for a very fulfilling few months ahead."

McClure isn't the only star reprising her role, with Nabil Elouahabi, Eric Shango, Mark Stanley, Kerry Godliman, Kris Hitchen, and Kevin Eldon all returning to the fray.
This series will also see several newcomers joining the cast, including Outlander star Natalie Simpson as DS Helen Morgan, Bridgerton's Julian Ovenden as Commander John Francis, and This Is My Desire actor Tomiwa Edun as Alex.
Trigger Point series 2 will premiere at 9pm on ITV1 on January 28.
