Victim critical after 2-car crash near Downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — One person is in critical condition after a two-car crash in the Downtown Las Vegas area Wednesday, police said.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officials said two vehicles collided near North Martin Luther King Boulevard and West Owens Avenue near Downtown Las Vegas.

One person was taken to an area hospital. That individual’s condition is listed as critical. No further details were given as to if there were any other crash victims.

Police ask commuters to avoid the area as the roads are closed while officers investigate the crash.
