Victoria Beckham made fun of her famous neutral expression by posting "evidence" that she does in fact smile.

The 46-year-old was marking the United Nations' International Day of Happiness on 20 March as she posted photos of sons Cruz, 16, and Romeo, 18, grinning while wearing a t-shirt from her own range, which is adorned with the text: "FFS SMILE."

"Like mother like sons 😂 @cruzbeckham @romeobeckham," she wrote.

Proving that she's capable of more than a pout, the former Spice Girl then posted on her Instagram Stories: "Some evidence that I actually do smile! Especially for #InternationalDayOfHappiness."

She followed it up with a series of pictures of herself across the years with big smiles on her face, including one as a child, another where the Spice Girls met Prince Harry, and a throwback of her and husband David Beckham.

The mother-of-four has previously addressed why she's often pictured with a poker face.

She told Glamour back in 2019 that she'd "hidden behind [her] armour" in the past as she shared: “I want to be honest. In the past, I’ve probably hidden behind my armour – the not smiling publicly, for instance. There’s less of that now."

Posh Spice also had a more humorous response when she told Vogue.com in a lighthearted 2015 interview that the question she hates being asked the most is: “Why don’t you smile?”

She explained: “I’m smiling on the inside – I feel that I have a responsibility to the fashion community.”
