Victorinox Swiss Army Company Announces Monroe Furloughs

MONROE, CT — The Victorinox Swiss Army company announced it would furlough 48 of its employees at its Monroe headquarters due to the new coronavirus.

The company said in a letter to the state Department of labor that the furloughs went into effect around April 6 and it expects the furloughs to last less than six months.

The company manufactures Swiss Army Knives, cutlery, watches and travel gear.
