A 28-year-old Los Angeles sex offender is accused of exposing himself at a neighbor’s home in Victorville.

At 2:21 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a 911 call regarding a woman screaming at a home in the 12100 block of Cordero Road in Victorville. The area is a sparsely populated neighborhood west of Highway 395 and near the California Aqueduct.

When deputies arrived, they found the suspect, D’Audre Sumbry, being detained by neighbors on the victim’s property, authorities said. Witnesses told deputies they found Sumbry on the victim’s property masturbating, sheriff’s officials reported.

Sumbry was on parole and had prior convictions for indecent exposure. He is also a sex registrant who had not registered, deputies reported.

Sumbry is being held at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto without bail on a parole violation. He was also booked for indecent exposure and failure to register as a sex offender, sheriff’s officials stated.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Deputy Christopher Padilla at the Victor Valley sheriff’s station at 760-552-6800. Callers can remain anonymous by contacting We-Tip at 800-78CRIME or wetip.com.
