Video allegedly captures BTS’ V and BlackPink's Jennie on a date in Paris

On Wednesday night, BTS’ V and BlackPink’s Jennie were allegedly caught on camera during a romantic date in Paris, France.

The original video, captured and posted to TikTok by French photographer Amar Taoualit, features a couple holding hands while walking along the Seine River in the French capital. In the video caption, Taoualit states the couple is “Kim Taehyung and Kim Jennie in Paris.”

While the blurry quality of the video fails to capture the couple’s faces clearly, fans have claimed the couple’s clothes are evidence of their alleged identities.

Kim Tae-hyung, who goes by the alias V in BTS, left for France on Monday for fashion brand promotion shoots. Jennie is also reportedly in France as she will be appearing in the annual Cannes Film Festival to promote her acting role in HBO’s “The Idol.”

Both K-pop group members were seen in similar outfits to the couple in Paris earlier in the day.

In response to the video, BTS’ management agency Hybe and BlackPink’s management agency YG Entertainment have stated it is “difficult to confirm” the dating rumors.

This isn’t the first time V and Jennie have been said to have been dating, with rumors beginning approximately a year ago.

In May 2022, V and Jennie were allegedly captured on camera driving together on Jeju Island. In August of the same year, photos of the couple were reportedly leaked after Jennie’s personal photos were hacked and published online.

Despite these rumors, Hybe and YG Entertainment have refused to confirm or deny the potential romance between the two K-pop stars.

Regardless, fans of both BTS (Army) and BlackPink (Blinks) have expressed their support for the purported couple online, using the now viral hashtag Taennie — a combination of Taehyung and Jennie.
