NPR recently posted a "Tiny Desk Korea" live concert featuring BTS’ V.
Key details: Tiny Desk Korea is the first international iteration of NPR’s "Tiny Desk," a popular video series of live concerts held at the desk of "All Songs Considered" host Bob Boilen in Washington, D.C. Tiny Desk Korea is a joint venture between NPR and LG U+, a South Korean mobile network operator owned by LG Corporation.
V’s performance The 11-minute video “V of BTS: Tiny Desk Korea” was posted on NPR Music’s YouTube channel on Friday.
The video’s description shares that the special performance was filmed in Seoul in August. Several musicians notably flew to South Korea from the U.S. just for the concert.

V, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung, performed three songs from his debut EP, “Layover”: “Love Me Again,” “Slow Dancing” and “For Us.”
About the musicians: The musicians who performed alongside the 27-year-old BTS member include Blake Straus (guitar), Brett White (keyboard), Pete Jonas (bass), Destin Johnson (drums), Jacob Scesney (saxophone), Iyanu Anderson (vocals) Trudi Henderson (vocals) and Jewaun Word (vocals).
Not just K-pop: Sanjin Lee, vice president of content IP at LG U+, told Forbes that Tiny Desk Korea will go beyond K-pop and feature several other music genres, such as rock, hip-hop, jazz, R&B and classical.
