Video: Canary talks home electrification on the Weather Channel
On Friday, I did my (first!) live TV interview with the meteorologists Stephanie Abrams and Jordan Steele on the Weather Channel’s climate show Pattrn. They were curious about how to transform a typical fossil-fueled home into a clean-energy dream home, a subject I wrote about for Canary’s Home of the Future series in February. I walked through some of the key steps you can take to electrify your home and make it more energy-efficient. I also talked about weatherization, heat pumps and my unabashed love for the induction hot plate.
