Video: Chinese summer camp teaches kids to throw grenades, bayonet ‘Japanese soldiers’

A video of Chinese children seemingly being trained for warfare recently went viral on social media.
What’s going on: In the video, the children can be seen carrying rifles, riding mock carriers, firing mini-launchers, throwing fake grenades and bayoneting straw dummies dressed as Japanese soldiers from World War II.
The video reportedly includes audio from “My Chief and My Regiment,” a 2009 Chinese show about the Second Sino-Japanese War, as well as “Snow Leopard,” a 2010 show about the same war.
Where it’s happening: The video appears to have originated from Weibo.

On May 21, Chinese activist Jennifer Zeng, who is based in the U.S., shared it on Twitter, where it has now received more than 120,000 views. She speculated that the scenes may have been filmed in Hunan province due to the accompanying voiceover and captions.
Insider reported that the footage likely came from Red Sun, a children's summer camp in the Hunan city of Shaoyang that has a facility with grounds “almost identical” in its Douyin account.

I don't know why they claim Hunan people "will be the first to perish". Maybe this video is done in #Hunan Province, or scripted by Hunan people.#China #CCP #Japan #japanese #CCPChina pic.twitter.com/lp5fy00NfqMore from NextShark: Good Samaritans hailed as heroes after saving girl from kidnapper in Hawaii restaurant

Just explicitly shows how its citizens' indoctrination, whether in factual or alarmingly 'false' ideas, starts at a young age. Imagine how they would behave in their adult lives!
