VIDEO: 'Large Explosion' From Gender Reveal Party Shakes Houses In Southern New Hampshire

Some on social media said they thought a tree had fallen or an earthquake struck. It turns out that the blast came from a gender reveal party.

- [INAUDIBLE] new tonight, an explosion rocks a New Hampshire neighborhood. The blast was so loud that it was captured on a doorbell camera.


You could actually see, and obviously hear, the boom in the video. Police say it was from a gender reveal party in Kingston. Someone mixed an explosive called Tannerite and chalk for the big reveal at a nearby quarry. That person turned themselves into police.

And in case you're wondering, it was a boy.
