Video Of Paula Patton Frying Chicken Has Folks Scratching Their Heads

A video of Paula Patton making her go-to fried chicken recently went viral, and viewers are perplexed at her recipe, HITC reports.

Patton took to Instagram to show her making her “mom’s favorite fried chicken.” In the video, she starts running the chicken wings through cold water, saying they were “already cleaned some.”

After rinsing, she poured flour, without seasoning, into a ziplock bag and added small “batches” of chicken wings. She then takes a moment to bless the chicken with a chuckle.

The actress then placed the chicken in the pan with oil before adding her seasoning to which many on Twitter gawked at.

According to HITC, users on the platform said the recipe was “terrible” and a “cooking disaster.”

“Paula Patton just ruined my day,” one user tweeted.

“Paula Patton mom had her eating ‘fried chicken’ like they did on Atlanta season 3 episode,” one user wrote, referring to the episode where a character is shown eating bland and severely undercooked chicken.

Others even mentioned Patton’s ex-husband Robin Thicke, Parle Magazine reports.

“Paula Patton really just cleared Robin Thicke’s name with her own video,” a viewer commented.

“Robin Thicke I take back every negative thing I’ve ever said about you sir. It all makes sense now,” another added.
