Video premiere: 'MOVE (Big Body Gal Mix)' by Amun-Ra featuring Farin

"MOVE (Big Body Gal Mix)" by Amun-Ra featuring Farin is a feel-good early summer dance track with visuals to match. Released as a single last year, the song was fully realized with a music video shoot at the historic Gresham's Disco Lounge on Broad Street in April 2023. Directed by Amun-Ra, whose real name is Cedric Huff, the clip authentically captures the feel of an old-school Athens get-together.

Produced and edited by Athens-based promotion and production business Brasher Media, "MOVE" includes guest appearances by several of the local hip hop scene's most reputable figures, including P.O. The Priceless 1, AthFactor-Liberty Entertainment CEO Montu Miller, and a rare public appearance by Athens Music Walk of Fame inductees Lo Down & Duddy.

Considered one of the architects of the Athens hip hop scene, Amun-Ra began his music career in the mid-1980s when indie rock bands were in the local spotlight. Contrary to the sound typically identified with southern-based hip hop, Amun-Ra's conscious themes and enlightening messages are delivered in a vocal style on the frequency of legendary artists like Gil Scott-Heron, KRS-One and Public Enemy.
