This Video of Prince Harry Fixing Meghan Markle’s Ponytail Will Warm Your Heart

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal tour of southern Africa kicked off on Monday, September 23, and it seems like they're having a great time. Day one of the festivities, which took place in Cape Town, included some dancing, a moving speech about female empowerment, and a viral moment involving Markle's ponytail.

What's that last one, you ask? Well, I'll show you. At some point during the day, Markle and Prince Harry stopped by a workshop in Cape Town's Nyanga township that educates children on self-empowerment, where they posed for a few pics with students. As the photographer snapped away, Prince Harry noticed Markle's ponytail was a bit out of place, and he casually fixed it for her. The Duchess of Sussex seemed unfazed by the move and just kept smiling for photos.

This isn't the first time Prince Harry has done something like this. Last year at an engagement, he fixed Markle's hair after the wind slightly messed it up:

In the evening, Markle and Prince Harry switched into formal wear and attended a dinner. I'm living for this blue dress.

Markle's speech earlier that day was quite powerful. "To be able to meet all of you today who are standing up for what's right in the face of adversity, I applaud you. We are encouraged to hear your president take the next steps toward preventing gender-based violence through education and necessary changes to reinforce the values of modern South Africa," she said. "I do have to say I feel incredibly humbled to be in the presence of all of you as you stand firm in your core values of respect, dignity, and equality. I read a quote a few weeks ago and it resonated with me as I've been watching what's been happening here and your active efforts. Maya Angelou, a legendary poet and civil rights activist, once said, 'Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it, possibly without claiming it, she stands up for all women.'"

She continued, "Now, I know it's not easy and I know it must feel insurmountable at times, but your commitment to what is right gives all of us hope, especially your brothers and sisters here in your community who need you to continue to shine your light brightly. Your commitment is inspiring. It is energizing. And it is extraordinary. You must keep going. You must know that what you are doing not only matters; it is vital because you are vital."
