New video released of missing Belle Isle woman shows she was last seen at Walmart

Video released by the Belle Isle Police Department Monday shows the last known location of a local mother who has been missing since Sept. 25, and detectives hope it may lead to clues into her disappearance.

Surveillance footage from a Walmart at 5991 South Goldenrod Road shows Stephanie Hollingsworth walking through an aisle near the store’s entrance before suddenly turning around and walking toward an exit.

The footage was captured around 2 p.m. Sept. 25, Belle Isle Police Chief Laura Houston said. Police previously gave Hollingsworth’s last known location as her home on Monet Avenue around noon that same day.

Police are investigating “several” tips received via Crimeline, Houston said Monday, and they are still working to find the missing mother of three.

Hollingsworth left her house on Sept. 25 without her phone, makeup or a spare change of clothes, family friend Larry Miles told the Orlando Sentinel. Her car, a silver 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe, only had a quarter tank of gas when she left the house.

Her bank records show a single transaction afterward: a $20 withdrawal from an ATM at the Bank of America near Hoffner Avenue and South Goldenrod Road.

Locating Hollingsworth’s car is critical in determining her location, Scott Hollingsworth said, and he has asked the public to look out for his wife’s car with Florida license plate Y50XUR.

Family and friends have set up a “command post” outside the Walmart where Hollingsworth was last seen and are distributing missing posters and conducting volunteer search parties from the store’s parking lot.

Hollingsworth is “endangered," Miles said, expressing concerns of criminal activity in her disappearance because her actions are uncharacteristic of the normally responsible and punctual mother.

Detectives have not found clues suggesting suspicious activity, Deputy Chief Travis Grimm said Friday. Chief Houston said Monday the agency is “extremely concerned” with Hollingsworth’s well-being.

Anyone with information on Stephanie Hollingsworth’s location is asked to call the Belle Isle Police Department via the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch number at 407-836-4357 or Crimeline at 800-423-8477. Crimeline is offering a $5000 reward for information leading to Hollingsworth’s location.
