Banksy is so happy and secure in his safe space.

It's not uncommon for shelter dogs to come from difficult backgrounds and have lingering trauma from those experiences. It's important to help these dogs adjust to their new environment so they feel safe and have an easier time getting adopted. One shelter volunteer was successful at helping one pup acclimate to his new situation, and the result is so heartwarming!

TikTok user @thor_god_of_corgis is a shelter volunteer in Houston, Texas and recently shared a video of one of a Pit Bull named Banksy that is available for adoption. This user helped Banksy adjust by allowing him to decompress at her home where he can learn to trust humans again in a relaxing environment. Awww, we are so happy for Banksy! We are in awe at how much progress he has made, but it is clear the volunteer dedicated a lot of time and energy to helping him overcome his fears. Amazing work from both of them!
