There are no doubts in our minds that animals know a kind person when they see one. Even if it takes a long time to develop enough trust to get close, like farm animal rescuer @danmckernan and his rescue cow named Mabel, small acts of care, patience, and gentleness will go a long way. Before you know it, you'll be in the middle of a bovine cuddle session of your very own!
As precious as this video of Dan and Mabel is, it's also a heartwarming reminder of the difference a little love can make in the life of an animal. It's only been two years since the cow was rescued, but she's doing amazing--all thanks to one kind soul.

Mabel is such a sweet girl--we just love her head nuzzles! She's gentle but certain at the same time, and there's no question about how she feels about her rescuer. Just like @roseeclovers said in the comment section, "she loves you 🥰." It's plain to see! And we'd guess from the snuggles that he loves her right back!
