ABC7 posted a video of a home in Sandy, Utah, that went above and beyond in creativity on X on Oct. 26. It’s captioned, “This homeowner in Utah is playing with her funny bone this Halloween! The creative decor features 80 life-size skeletons mimicking different human activities, including posing for pictures, mowing the lawn or even lounging around and acting like some real lazy bones.” So far it has received 108,000 views on X.

Homeowner Amy Beecroft Pay told Storyful that she began decorating her yard for Halloween with skeletons celebrating “human everyday life” in 2020 during the pandemic. She began with about 20 skeletons, and the number has increased over the past three years to 80.

The video shows skeletons clinging onto the front of a Ford truck, climbing onto the roof of the home, kissing in the garden, pushing each other in a wheelchair, lounging on the lawn, riding a tandem bike and walking a skeleton dog.

Most notably, one skeleton mows Pay’s lawn, accidentally running over one of its skeleton friends. Bones spread out around the mower, but life continues on unbothered among the dead around it.
