VIDEO: Shoplifter running off with Funko Pop! toys from NYC Barnes & Noble knocks 77-year-old bystander unconscious

A shoplifter dashing out of a Manhattan Barnes & Noble with stolen Funko Pop! toys knocked a 77-year-old bystander unconscious in his haste to get away, startling video released by the NYPD Sunday shows.

The crook grabbed two of the popular collectibles from a display inside the Union Square branch about 12:20 p.m. Saturday, cops said.

Security guards tried to stop him from leaving without paying but he dashed out the front door, shoving a bystander to the ground as he fled. The woman lost consciousness and was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

Cops are asking the public’s help identifying the crook and tracking him down. He ran off east on E. 15th St. toward Irving Place, cops said.

He is described as in his 20s, 5-foot-3 with a medium build, dark complexion, black hair and facial hair. He wore a blue hoodie, gray sweatpants and gray sneakers. He was carrying a black bag.
