Video Showing 'Before and After' of Florida Senior Dog Rescue Post-Hurricane Is Just Heartbreaking
The animals are safe but they need our help!
Every day we see more and more of the tragic effects of Hurricane Ian. According to CNN, 109 people have been reported dead from the storm — 105 of them in Florida alone. Countless homes have been destroyed during the Hurricane, including the True and Faithful Pet Rescue Mission in Venice, Florida. Who are now sharing the extent of the damage to their property.
The rescue specializes in saving senior dogs and "the unwanted from high kill shelters," their TikTok page @trueandfaithful states. So we can only imagine how hard this whole thing has been on the animals.

"Hurricane Ian direct hit on our rescue," the video's onscreen caption reads. The video then shows several before-and-after shots of the rescue since the destruction happened. It's impossible to imagine anything so heartbreaking. "We are working hard but we still need your help," the caption states.
We weren't the only ones deeply affected by the footage. "I just hope that you are all safe. That is the most important thing," @junosplace wrote in the comments section. "Thank you for keeping them safe! Now it's our turn to help you feel safe and secure again," @aubsel3 added. "Please tell me what you need are your animals safe do they need food, water please let me know what needs to be done," @thrumylens8236 urged.
The rescue is currently accepting donations to help them rebuild or you can lend a hand by buying something off their Amazon wishlist.
