Video shows bear stealing package of dog food from Chewy off family's front porch
Apparently, Winnie the Pooh isn’t just going for honey anymore.
In a video shared to Facebook by WNEP news anchor Jon Meyer, a bear makes itself at home by snagging a box of dog food from Chewy off a Pennsylvania family’s porch and dragging it back to the woods. According to WNEP, the family then contacted Chewy about the incident, and Chewy offered to send a free replacement.
OK, so it’s not quite Grand Theft Auto, and the bear’s thieving skills are probably more fit for Home Alone than they are Ocean’s Eleven. But the bear did make a clean getaway.
We’re pretty sure no one told the bear that dog food is only supposed to be for, you know... dogs? When you’re a bear and you have the munchies, though, you’re probably safe to just take whatever you want. Who’s really going to try and stop you?
