Video shows missing Brit a month before missing

STORY: "We're going to rescue some people from Bakhmut," the volunteer said on camera.

Ukrainian police said Andrew Bagshaw left the city of Kramatorsk for the town of Soledar on Friday (January 6) morning together with Christopher Parry, a fellow volunteer. They were reported missing on Saturday evening (January 7) after contact with them was lost.

A photo posted alongside a statement from Russia's Wagner mercenary group appeared to show passports bearing the names of both Christopher Parry and Andrew Bagshaw.

"Today the body of one of them was found. Documents for both Britons were discovered with him," said the Wagner statement. It did not give details on where the body was found.
