Video shows a mob in Israel dragging a man they think is Arab out of his car and beating him
Footage shows a mob attacking a driver they believe is Arab on a street in Bat Yam, Israel.
Israeli media described the crowd as extremist Jews. The crowd said the driver tried to run them over.
Tensions are running high amid deadly clashes between Israel and Hamas this week.
Video shows a mob forcing a man they think is Arab out of his car and beating him on a street in Bat Yam, Israel, on Wednesday night.
The video shows a car reversing away from a crowd of people before crashing into a car, and then driving forward, where people scatter before the car crashes into another car and then comes to a halt.
A crowd of people is then seen approaching the car, dragging the man out, and attacking him.

The Times of Israel and Israeli media, cited by Reuters, described the crowd as a mob of far-right Israelis. The Times of Israel said they beat the man until he lay motionless on the ground.
Tel Aviv's Ichilov hospital said in a statement that "The victim of the lynching is seriously injured but stable," according to The Guardian.
According to Reuters, eyewitnesses told Israeli media that the car's driver tried to run them over.
The driver's identity has not been released, and his motives while driving was not clear.
Deadly clashes have taken place between Jewish settlers, the Israeli military, and Palestinians in the past week. Israel and Hamas, the Gaza-based militant group, exchanged air attacks this week, killing at least 83 people in Gaza and seven in Israel.
On Thursday, Israel moved additional ground troops to its border with Gaza in what the Israel Defense Forces called a "preparatory move."
