Terrell Owens was involved in an incident on Saturday night outside of a CVS in Inglewood, California.

In a video obtained by TMZ Sports, the former All-Pro NFL wide receiver was captured knocking out a heckler who was allegedly harassing customers. According to Owens, he was shopping in the store when a San Francisco 49ers fan approached him and sparked up a conversation.

Moments later, a second man began harassing and heckling the fan Owens was speaking with. Witnesses told TMZ the heckler threatened to beat up both Owens and the 49ers fan outside. The confrontation subsequently spilled outside of the store to the sidewalk, where Owens was reportedly trying to de-escalate things when the aggressor threw a punch at him.

The Pro Football Hall of Famer needed just one punch to send the heckler to the pavement. Owens reportedly went back to his vehicle and drove away. Police were not called to the scene.

The incident comes several months after Owens boasted about his fighting ability in an appearance on the Club Shay Shay podcast with Shannon Sharpe. When asked what former teammate he’d want to go toe-to-toe with if he had to fight someone, Owens wasted no time naming Donovan McNabb.

“And I’m dead serious,” he shared. “Shannon, I’ll knock him out.” Owens told Sharpe that he would operate with “controlled anger,” comparable to a Navy Seal, while confessing there would be a “fire burning inside of me.

Over his 15 seasons in the NFL, Owens cemented his status as one of the greatest wide receivers in the history of the league. A six-time Pro Bowler and five-time First Team All-Pro selection, Owens ranks third in NFL history in both receiving yard and receiving touchdowns.
