Video shows troopers stop attempted car theft on I-70
Ohio State Highway Patrol has released a video they said shows the moment troopers stopped a theft in progress.
A trooper pulls up to an SUV and a pickup truck stopped on the shoulder of I-70 in Montgomery County, the dash camera video posted on social media shows.

The SUV drives off, then somebody jumps out of the truck and jumps over the concrete median running into traffic and into the woods.
Troopers said the suspect had broken into the window, peeled the steering column of the pickup truck and started the ignition of the unoccupied car.
The suspect was taken into custody later that morning with the help of local law enforcement, according to troopers.
Recently, a unit from our @OSHP Dayton Post stopped with two vehicles on IR 70 in Montgomery County. An occupant fled. It was determined to be a theft in progress.
