A video shows a white woman pointing a gun at a Black family and screaming at them to back away during a confrontation in the parking lot of a Chipotle in Oakland County, Michigan, on Wednesday.

Takelia Hill told The Detroit News that the woman began yelling at them after her 15-year-old daughter, Makayla Green, demanded an apology when the woman bumped into her.

"Before I could walk into Chipotle, this woman was coming out, and I had moved out the way so she can walk out," Green said. "She bumped me, and I said, 'Excuse you.' And then she started cussing me out and saying things like I was invading her personal space."

They then moved their argument to the parking lot. In a three-minute video of the confrontation published by The Detroit News, Hill and Green could be heard calling the woman "ignorant" and "racist."

A man then got out of an SUV and helped the woman into the passenger side. He asked the family, "Who the f--- do you think you guys are?" He then got back into the SUV on the driver's side.

The woman then rolled down her window and said: "You cannot just walk around calling white people racist. This is not that type of world. White people aren't racist. No one's racist. I care about you, and I'm sorry if you had an incident that has made someone make you feel like that. No one is racist."

Hill told The Detroit News that as the driver started backing out, she slapped the back window to stop the car because she thought the couple was going to hit her and her daughter.

The woman then got out of the car, pointed a gun at the family, and yelled at them to get away from the car. That part of the incident was caught on a minute-long video uploaded on Twitter by a woman who identified herself as a relative of the family:

The footage showed the woman continuing to point the gun at the family — who could be heard yelling for someone to call the police — for about a minute before getting back in the SUV and driving off.

According to The Detroit News, the woman was later seen kneeling on the ground while the police handcuffed her.

The woman who identified herself as a relative of the family said the white woman was arrested but let go shortly afterward.

"They said they couldn't arrest her because my niece mother hit there car (with her hand) to stop them from hitting my niece!!! Justice needs to be served! This is white privilege," she tweeted.

Sgt. Dale Brown, a spokesman for the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, told Insider that no one had been arrested but that an investigation was ongoing and would be forwarded to the prosecutor's office for potential criminal charges.
