Tom Hiddleston, aka the God of Mischief himself, has uploaded a video from a recent Loki training session. Set to land on new streaming service Disney+ next year, it's believed that Loki's TV spin-off will find Hiddleston's fan-favorite character traversing the globe and influencing major historical events.

Hiddleston has been practicing some stunt work for the role, and in a video clip posted on Instagram, the actor can be seen wired up and leaping into the air, before landing on a crash mat face first.

"Prep is going really well. #Loki," he hilariously captioned the video. Hiddleston's video has since racked up over 3.3 million views, with one fan writing in the comment section: "Man hit the bed like a grapefruit."

"Omg this is so great I love this," added someone else, while another follower laughed: "LOKI PRACTICING HIS SUPERHERO LANDING."

Luckily for the star, there's still time to perfect the move before cameras start rolling, as Loki is set to premiere on Disney+ in spring 2021.

Hiddleston previously admitted that he never auditioned for the role of Loki. Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last year, he explained: "At the time, they were looking for less well-established actors, so that the audience didn't have an association – they just wanted people to see these new characters, these new actors.

"The remit was, if you're over six foot and you've got blonde hair, you could come and have a pop at it. So I actually auditioned [for Thor]. I never auditioned for Loki. I only ever auditioned for Thor, which is nuts."
