LAS VEGAS – Ahead of their upcoming title fight at UFC 278, UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and challenger Leon Edwards participated in a pre-fight press conference at T-Mobile Arena.
The fight is set to take place at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City on Aug. 20.
The fight will be the second meeting between the two fighters. Their first bout took place at UFC on FOX 17 in 2014 and Usman (21-1 MMA, 15-0 UFC) defeated Edwards (19-3 MMA, 11-2 UFC) by unanimous decision. The rematch will be for much higher stakes with the welterweight title on the line.
