Scientists warn the world is becoming

warmer due to human-caused climate change

fueling extreme droughts, storms

and wildfires around the globe

"We're in what's called a shoulder season, where we're going from winter into summer and we get these kind of ups and downs that get really hot temperatures. And then what we're expecting later this week is to kind of cool off a little bit more. And so that will transition us into summer."
