Matthew Morrison might be most recognizable for his work on Glee, but during his performance in “Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch Musical!”, viewers on Twitter associated him more with being “uncomfortable.”

Several viewers thought his performance was overtly sexual, with one person tweeting, “Mathew Morrison is being sexual in the Grinch. It’s a choice. A good one? No.” While another person wrote, “I’m literally gonna need to see my therapist after watching Matthew Morrison put so much sexual energy into the Grinch.”

While the hip-thrusts and heavy breathing during his performance made things awkward for some viewers, Morrison had previously said the performance was actually inspired by Joaquin Phoenix’s “Joker.”

Even though there was a viewer who literally created a Twitter account to comment on how uncomfortable the performance made her, most people enjoyed it. One viewer wrote, “He's actually doing a good job. I can't tell if the Grinch is trying to be creepy or sexy but it's an enjoyable ride.”

MATTHEW MORRISON: Oh, oh, oh!

[FARTS LOUDLY]

Oh! Max, how dare you? You'll wake up the neighbors.

KYLIE MAR: And, sure, there was a viewer who literally created a Twitter account to comment on how uncomfortable the performance made her. But most people still enjoyed it, like this person who wrote, "He's actually doing a good job. I can't tell if the Grinch is trying to be creepy or sexy, but it's an enjoyable ride." And even though Morrison's Grinch was a little different, he still had the happy ending with a heart that grew three sizes on Christmas Day.

MATTHEW MORRISON: Oh, ahh. That feels so much better. Just don't make my butt any bigger.
