Vienna's Church Street Holiday Stroll To Be Virtual In 2020
VIENNA, VA — Vienna will ring in the holiday season as always with the Church Street Holiday Stroll, but it will be held in a different format due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Town of Vienna is offering the annual event via livestream at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30. The event will include the traditional tree lighting, holiday tunes from the Vienna Community Band brass ensemble and an interactive concert with holiday tunes and the US Army Band: Swamp Romp, and a message from Santa and Mayor Linda Colbert.
Viewers can find the festivities through the Town of Vienna's Facebook Live or YouTube Live. Watch live for chances to make song requests, play games and trivia, win prizes, and get shout outs. Prizes will include Vienna prize packs and gift packs from the Historic Freeman Store and Museum. The virtual event is sponsored by Navy Federal Credit Union.
