to celebrate the Lunar New Year

(SOUNDBITE) (Vietnamese) 39-YEAR-OLD ARTIST, NGUYEN TAN PHAT, SAYING:"I often introduce collections for the zodiac animal of the next year. It is going to be the Year of the Tiger soon. There are 2,022 (tigers) in this collection, which align with the number of this year. Also I am very fond of tigers as an animal, as they are so powerful and majestic."
Artist Nguyen Tan Phat uses natural materials
such as wood from jackfruit trees in his home town
as well as crushed egg and sea shells
He decorates the carvings with around 10 layers of paint
using traditional lacquer techniques
