WORCESTER — Advocates with the Progressive Labor Party held signs at Main and Austin streets Wednesday in front of Gala Supermarket before reading aloud the names of the 10 victims of last weekend's mass shooting in Buffalo, New York.

Ruth Rodriguez, Gwen Davis and Gordon T. Davis held signs calling for an end to "fascist" violence and to support the people of Buffalo.

Gordon Davis said that they wanted to bring attention to the shooting while calling for a stronger force against racism.

Davis also denounced racist conspiracy theories and "lies" such as the Great Replacement Theory, a theory of demographic replacement that is believed to have inspired the alleged shooter in Saturday's mass shooting in Buffalo, Payton S. Gendron.
