Vikings’ game vs. the Panthers: Week 6 inactives
The Vikings got some good news on the Friday injury report.
The team had just DT Michael Pierce and TE Ben Ellefson on the report, after a week practice where a plethora of important Vikings players sat out at times.
Pierce, Ellefson and others are inactive for the Week 6 game against the Panthers. Here are the Vikings and Panthers players who definitely won’t see action:

Analysis: Pierce and Ellefson being out should be expected after the team’s Friday injury report. Smith-Marsette is a big loss for the kick return unit.

DE Darryl Johnson
RB Spencer Brown
Analysis: Vikings fans won’t get to see Minnesota native Kamal Martin play against the Panthers. Shaq Thompson is a bigger loss to the linebacker unit, though. Christian McCaffrey isn’t on this list because the running back is on IR.
