The Vikings are seeking their fifth straight win. A victory would give them their best start since they opened the 2009 season with a 6-1 record.
The Cardinals defeated the Vikings 34-33 at home in Week 2 last season when Greg Joseph missed a 37-yard field goal on the final play. Vikings linebacker Jordan Hicks, who was playing for the Cardinals that game, said his team then “snuck away with one.”
The Vikings are coming off their bye week. Wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who has had three straight 100-yard receiving games for the first time in his three-year NFL career, will go for a fourth in a row. Running back Dalvin Cook, who has three games this season of 90 or more yards rushing, is looking for his first 100-yard outing.
The Cardinals are seeking their first two-game winning streak of the season. They are led by elusive quarterback Kyler Murray, who has 1,667 yards passing and 263 yards rushing. In a 42-34 win over New Orleans on Oct. 20, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins returned from a six-game NFL suspension to catch 10 passes for 103 yards.
