Paul Walker's memory will live on in Furious 8.

Vin Diesel shared a sweet picture of his longtime Fast and the Furious co-star Paul Walker on Instagram Saturday along with a story from the set of the newest film in the series, Furious 8.

In the post he writes: 

Vin Diesel has been very public about his struggles to cope with Walker's death after the actor died in a 2013 car crash. Diesel even named his daughter Pauline after his friend. 

The fate of the franchise was up in the air following Walker's accident — the film dealt with the character by showing his "retirement." But after the box office success of Furious 7, it was decided to add three final films to the series. 

Furious 8 is set to be released on April 14, 2017.
