A Vincennes, Indiana, couple died in a wreck on U.S. 41 on Monday

Indiana State Police say a Vincennes, Indiana, couple died in a wreck along U.S. 41 in Knox County on Monday.

According to a news release, 68-year-old Craig Wissel and his wife, 68-year-old Jane Wissel, died at the scene of the wreck on U.S. 41 at Industrial Park Boulevard.

State police said the Wissels collided with a tractor-trailer that had started to pull across the intersection. The tractor-trailer, driven by 60-year-old Russell Wilson of Princeton, Indiana, was blocking both northbound lanes when the Wissels' 2015 Toyota Sienna collided with it.

Wilson was not injured in the wreck, according to the news release.

The wreck was reported at 6:40 p.m. EST. State police said their investigation into the incident is ongoing.
