Since 2006, euphoria has put a focus on Greenville’s food scene, showcasing culinary talent from here and guest chefs from out of town. But did you know that Euphoria features tasty music too? It’s all over downtown and beyond during the festival.

The kickoff musical event will be held at Greenville ONE Center, 2 W. Washington St., on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 6 p.m., with Songwriters’ Recipe. Nashville heavy-hitter singer/songwriters Tim Nichols, Jesse Lee, and Chris DeStefano take the stage to regale you with songs they’ve written primarily for other artists. Their combined work includes several Grammys, many No. 1 country hits with top artists, contributions to American Idol winners’ albums and some of Nashville’s most coveted awards.

Sunday’s Feast by the Field at Fluor Field, Sunday at 11 a.m., features The Vegabonds, who describe themselves as “alternative Southern rock road warriors,” which I think about sums it up. The Nashville-based group is traveling all over the country right now, and it’ll be a treat to have them in Greenville.

Sunday Supper, the final musical event, will be at Greenbrier Farms, 766 Hester Store Rd., Easley, SC, at 5:30, featuring The Wilder Flower, a trio of women from Pickens, SC, and Brevard, NC, who plays bluegrass, Americana, and folk music. Their vocal harmony is astounding.
