Nikki Naraine said she was desperate when she posted her TikTok video last Thursday. The 21-year-old college student attended the Weeknd concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

But her Star Boy glow quickly faded when she returned to her parking lot and found her car window shattered. She wasn’t alone.

“One cop came and he told us how there were about 45 cars broken into,” Naraine told Channel 2′s Candace McGowan.

Pictures shared with McGowan show piles of glass all over the parking lot. Naraine said nothing was stolen from her car, but for others, that wasn’t the story.

“There was a gun stolen from someone’s car,” she said.

Channel 2 Action News reached out to Atlanta police, who said they have many reports of break-ins from that evening. Channel 2 also emailed LAZ, who runs the lot, but so far have not heard back.

There are many large signs warning of what will happen if you don’t pay, but the warning about parking at your own risk is in tiny print.

“If they’re making people pay, then there needs to be security,” Naraine said.

The college senior hopes her TikTok will be a warning to others that she wishes she had.

“Definitely I would look for security cameras where you park at. Park somewhere you know if trust worthy with cops around, security around,” she said.
