Missing Fairfax County teen has been found safe

Update: Tyler has been found and is safe according to Fairfax County Police

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Virginia State Police issued a missing and endangered alert on behalf of the Fairfax County Police Department on Monday afternoon.

Fairfax County Police Department is looking for 17-year-old Tyler Mclean. He is described as being 5’9″ and 150 lbs. with brown eyes and sandy hair.

Tyler was last seen at about 11:00 a.m. on Jan. 29 in the 11000 block of Waples Mill Road in Fairfax.

He was wearing a salmon sweatshirt, gray t-shirt, dark camo jogger/sweatpants and carrying a black backpack with lime green accents.

Tyler was last seen walking. Police said his disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.

Fairfax County Police said they continue to search for Tyler.

He was last seen near a bus stop on Jermantown Rd and may have boarded a bus.
