Virginia woman dies in fatal Summers County crash

GREEN SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (WVNS) — A 31-year-old woman from Virginia died in a single car accident in the Green Sulphur Springs area of Summers County.

According to a press release from the West Virginia State Police, Cpl. N.C. Boothe and S/Tpr. Z.A. Hatfield responded to a report of a single car accident with an entrapment on I-64 at the Green Sulphur Springs exit.

With the help of a bystander, life saving measures were attempted until EMS units could arrive.

Kristina Robinson, 31, of North Dinwiddie, Virginia was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the accident remains active.
