New virtual Capital Bank branch offering home loans in Pensacola area | New Business

If you haven't had a chance to meet Aundrea Hutcherson, you will soon enough.

"Anytime there is an opportunity to get out there and make myself known, I'm going to be there," Hutcherson said. "And I'm going to keep trying to yell from the rooftops, 'Hey, I'm here! And you're gonna love me!'"

Hutcherson is bringing a Capital Bank branch to the Pensacola area, and on Aug. 12, she will be holding a ribbon cutting with the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce & Tourist Information Center to celebrate.

But there's something different about this branch in particular — it's virtual.

"It's virtual for now, but I hope to open a brick-and-mortar office once I have built my team up," Hutcherson said.

After months of research, due diligence and vetting potential companies, Hutcherson decided Capital Bank was the right fit for the Pensacola area.

"Once we came together to do this process, Capital Bank and me, I got the green light to open a location here in Pensacola," Hutcherson said. "And after I started getting my name out there, we've already had quite a few Realtors and partners established."

Hutcherson brings to the table a career in banking that spans more than two decades, with varied experiences that have prepared her for this point.

"At my previous company, I dabbled in a little bit of everything," Hutcherson said. "So I have done every position you could think of inside a branch, as well as HR. But in the last few years, I was noticing that mortgage, lending, home buying, real estate ... it was the field you wanted to be."

Hutcherson is licensed to serve all 50 states, making Capital Bank and its services available anywhere and at any time. More often than not, this level of flexibility allows Hutcherson to bring her business to her partners.

"What I do normally is I will even go to open houses and work with Realtors," Hutcherson said. "I'll bring my laptop with me, and if a customer is interested, we can do an application on site. Not only open houses, but events. Where if a customer is interested, we can put an application in, which is part of a pre-qualification. Then, once we get the soft approval, then we can collect additional information for the hard approval."

For Hutcherson, the goal is to get people financed with the right loan. VA, FHA, USDA, conventional and jumbo loans, as well as first time home buyer programs and options are just a few of the many services Capital Bank offers.

"We also have amazing refinance options with cash out if someone is looking to upgrade their home, add a pool or maybe just buy a boat," Hutcherson said. "We can help with that as well."

Since opening in 1999, Capital Bank has focused on adapting to the natural ebb and flow of business transactions. More recently, Capital Bank has been narrowing that focus on personalized service, be it in person or digital.

"In the next month to 90 days, my main goal is to make myself known to all of the Realtors, making sure they know what Capital Bank has to offer their clients," Hutcherson said. "But not just Realtors. I will be working with other businesses, including title companies and insurance companies."

The ribbon cutting will be held Aug. 12 at 3966 Avalon Blvd. in Milton. Festivities begin at 1 p.m. For more information, visit capitalbankmd.com or call 850-324-3888.
