Viva Van’s drive will be on display during the annual mega-show AAA TripleMania via FITE TV

Debuting in 2018, Viva Van is already part of a big, annual super-show, teaming with NWA champ Kamille and Natalia Markova during Lucha Libre AAA TripleMania XXXI on Saturday, July 15.

TripleMania is available via FITE TV from Tijuana, Mexico.

Viva Van, NWA champ Kamille and Natalia Markova wrestle Dalys, Lady Shani & Sexy Star.

AAA Mega Title Match: El Hijo del Vikingo defends his title against Kenny Omega.

About Viva Van

Viva Van, who is based in Los Angeles, started her pro wrestling journey being trained by WWE alum Rikishi, Black Pearl and Los Luchas (Phoenix Star and Zokre). She learned various styles, including lucha early in the process.

Viva Van grew up in Cali playing WWE video games (thanks to her father), until she was informed two years later by a friend that WWE broadcasts a show on TV weekly. She then watched SmackDown on Thursday nights and became really hooked.

Very athletic as a youth and in high school (from kung fu to basketball, soccer and softball), Viva Van also attended a performing arts school to pursue a music career, which all later helped in her pro wrestling development. The beginnings of her training, very tough, but she stuck with it, realizing pro wrestling, a good decision. Her brother, Bobby, is a big fan of pro wrestling and Viva Van.

Taking bodyslams on the hard canvas, springing off the steel ropes and building pro wrestling cardio -- quite the change from sitting in accounting class in college.Van not only switched career paths in life but also in college, graduating with a marketing degree from Cal State Fullerton.

Marketing/branding, another important aspect of today’s pro wrestling, especially with the rise of social media and technology.

Viva Van is the first Vietnamese-American female pro wrestler.

A role model, she appeared on the Pro Wrestling Illustrated series “Behind the Curtain” in June 2020, where she led the charge to raise money to fund the construction of a wrestling ring for the first and only pro wrestling school in Vietnam -- Vietnam Pro Wrestling (formerly known as Saigon Pro Wrestling Club). They are now running pro wrestling shows there, and she wants to compete on one.

Viva Van wrestled on the Independent circuit as well as All Elite Wrestling, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, DEFY Wrestling, Future Stars of Wrestling, Impact Wrestling, Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, and PCW Ultra.

Viva Van, who is also into horror movies, vocalized for the Southern California heavy metal band Mocking of the Trinity.

She was featured in the December 2020 issue of “Gothic Girl Magazine,” where she discussed professional wrestling and heavy metal.
