Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for parts of western North Carolina on Wednesday, August 11, as severe weather continued to impact the state.

The National Weather Service issued a flurry of warnings on Wednesday for winds of up to 60 mph and quarter-sized hailstones in parts of North Carolina.
